We want to help when we can
At B’s Bagels, we believe in the power of community. As a small, locally owned shop, we’re passionate about supporting causes that help people, children, and animals in the Gig Harbor area. Giving back is important to us, and we’re grateful to be part of such a connected, caring community.
We receive many donation requests each month—often repeat requests. Our donation budget is limited due to being a small individually owned business. To keep things fair, we do our best to spread our support across a variety of schools, nonprofits, and local events rather than focusing on the same organizations each time. This helps us diversify our impact and ensures we’re not unintentionally playing favorites.
For example, in 2024 we were proud to donate to Peninsula High School and Northwest Wag Rescue, and in 2025 we supported Gig Harbor High School and the Pierce County Humane Society along with many small community donations. For 2026, we’ll look to extend our giving to other local schools and organizations before repeating past recipients. Rotating our support in this way allows us to share our limited resources more widely and reach different corners of the community each year.
We also love building true partnerships. It means a lot to us when requests come from individuals or organizations who also support B’s Bagels, whether that’s visiting our shop, sharing our story, or being active members of the community alongside us. Personalized connections help us stretch our resources further and make sure our giving is rooted in mutual support.
While we aren’t able to say yes to every request, we review each one carefully against our budget and our giving priorities. If you’d like to submit a donation request, please message us below.
